Junior Youth Challenge

What is JYC?

The Junior Youth Challenge program is a weekly meeting for youth, ages 12-16. This CEF program is designed to give training and inspiration to Christian young people interested in child evangelism through monthly or weekly meetings during the school year.  It is basically to continue helping those reached in Good News Clubs.  It provides an excellent follow-up for saved children in their teenage years, and gives them the opportunity to meet, have fellowship and work with other Christian young people.  It is supplementary to regular attendance at a Bible-believing church.

The aim of JYC is:

  • To help young Christians to grow, and to strengthen them in their faith during the turbulent years of adolescence.
  • To train them to begin serving the Lord as junior helpers in Good News Clubs and other outreach ministries.
  • To evangelize any who have not yet been saved.
